My friend Jan, who is also a photographer, traveled with me on my birthday to the Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary north of Rice Lake, WI. Although we got a few good pics, I think our chatting may have scared away the bigger animals. Oh well, it was bound to happen with a newfound friendship such as ours. According to Jan, she was OK with that - she didn't feel like running into a bear on the "Bear Trail". She did manage to get a great pic of a momma deer and her fawn, however. My camera was not strong enough to capture the image, so I settled for bumblebee and dragonfly pics. :)
