Hi friends! My name is Paula Elert. I live in a small Wisconsin town called Luck, home of the Duncan Yo-Yo. I'm originally from the suburbs of Minneapolis where I grew up on the Mississippi river, surrounded by woods and wildlife. The bustling city was close to home, yet my backyard was solitary. Growing up this way made my transition to rural western Wisconsin easy.

Welcome to my blogs about my favorite things: the outdoors, food and wine, life in west central Wisconsin, travels, and of course my photography that shares it all. People say I have a lot to talk about, which is true, so what better way to deliever stories and information about the things I love? I hope you enjoy my blogs as much as I enjoy writing them.
